The cocktail party version: I’m an artist and a travel writer.
The business luncheon version: I specialize in intuitive web design for artists, focusing on e-commerce, social media and content marketing.
The artist version: I’m a weaver and a handspinner, I design clothing and jewelry.
The mama version: I also have a blog and free range children.
The geek version: I use WordPress as a CMS with a customized premium template, and I concentrate on writing intriguing copy that’s optimized for search engines.
The creatrix version: I knit, crochet, sew, spin, weave, dye, paint, draw, compose photographs, curate digital expressions of taste, and write like a mo fo. I love to explore new mediums like most women change their shoes.
The geographical version: I live in the desert Southwest. If I’m not online, you can bet I’m outside poking around in the dirt, shooting guns, or running fast. (Ok, maybe not. But that’s what I like to do.)
The Heartfelt Version.
I’m Juliana. I’m scatterbrained. I’m intense. I have spent the majority of my life gazing out windows. I’m a Virgo, which is just so perfectly wrong. I like pie.
I’m an Aquarius Moon. I live near the Buddhist box.
I lived in Montana for twelve of my adult years. I was pulled by an instinctive force that would no longer allow me to live another day without experiencing the mountains. It’s where I was born. Fourth generation. My children are the fifth.
I was raised in Arizona though my mother says I grew up in Montana.
I’m a poet.
I have never had any desire to be a poet, but it’s one of those things you just can’t choose. It does makes me exceptionally good at reading tarot though.
The wisdom of rivers tells me to keep moving, to explore until the waters run dry and return to source, to tell stories. Once upon a time, I lived near three running rivers that are all going in different directions. They come from the same source.
I have always been surrounded by art, though a quadriplegic man taught me how to be an artist. His name was Ernie Pepion. He was Blackfeet Indian. Sometime I will tell you more about all that.
I am opinionated.
I am compassionate.
I spit in the face of fear. I duck when it spits back.
My favorite color is turquoise.
I like rocks. And the Packers.
You can call me Miss J.
