In her true style, Montana has welcomed the dawn of a new season with a christening of snow.  This is a regular event on this side of the Divide, even during Summer Solstice.

It has often been said that those who live here are a tough breed.  Or crazy.  A bit of both is probably most accurate.

While the good-bye to warm weather and sunny skies is a tearful one, we gracefully open our arms in welcome to Autumn.  She brings good things.

    eeeek! i couldn’t do it mama, snow already, no way! Love annabelle’s hat, i just cut out a pattern to make TAnner the same style, gonna line it with some bamboo fleece :) Just looking for the perfect plaid for the outside.

  5. I scored her hat from the annual free-for-all at one of the local schools…which is coming up very, very soon…

    and that girl cracks us up pretty much all day long. I’m trying to get a shot of her latest–it’s priceless.
